Hello, I’m Sabrina Khan. I help people explore what matters & how to live well.

Counselling is a collaborative process. I provide my clients with a safe, confidential and supportive space whether we are together in-person or online. Here is some sample of things I help clients with:

  • Depression, bereavement and loss, compulsive thoughts, actions and addictions

  • Anger management, phobias, stress, cultural issues

  • Sexual, emotional or physical abuse, childhood issues

  • Self-esteem issues, PTSD and complex PTSD

  • Relationship issues (including Couples work)

  • Working with women and their problems with intimacy

Sometimes we need to process difficult or traumatic experiences or unlearn the messages we learned in our upbringing because they no longer work for us. I can help you develop clarity and confidence in the choices you wish to take to build a calmer, happier life.

My Services

1:1 counselling can help you with sometimes confusing or difficult thoughts and feelings. Talking to someone who is empathetic and giving you their full attention can lead to valuable insights and help you feel calmer and clearer.

1:1 emotional wellbeing support can help you gain clarity, set positive goals and reflect on how you use your energy. I can work with you to put together a realistic plan that works for you at your pace.

Community referrals come to me from Local Authorities, charities, solicitors and insurance companies. I offer individual or family therapy for clients you feel would benefit from one of my programmes.

Group Therapy - (Talking Minds) Join me as we talk about relationships, abuse, anxiety or depression in a safe and supportive group environment and feel less isolated. Groups are to be held online on a weekly basis giving you the space to share and reflect and be heard.

10-week group therapy ROSE Programme includes learning about key topics covered in 1:1 therapy using various activities and then reflecting and relating to your own experiences. The aim is to increase your self awareness and give you some tools so you can feel empowered to make changes going forward in your life,

Sessions are online or in-person at my office in Uxbridge or in a venue provided by the community referee.

My Credentials

I am an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor MBACP and trauma therapist. I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their Ethical Framework. I am working towards full accreditation.

I work in English, Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi, and am comfortable and experienced with working in collaboration with interpreters.

A user-centred approach is how I work with adults, teenagers, families and groups. I have worked in west London high schools and with people recovering from domestic and sexual violence.

Other qualifications and on-going professional development include: the Freedom Programme (domestic abuse awareness programme); PGL-Parent Group Leader for Family Links and Talking Teens (parenting programmes).

Tutor for Therapeutic Counselling Diploma Level 4 (approved by CPCAB) and teaching counselling students to help them complete the qualification process.

The ROSE Programme is my signature offering. It is a 10-week emotional therapy programme I created in 2019 as a response to the needs of many clients whose funded counselling or therapy had come to an end.

Clinical Director for No Excuse for Abuse CIC. In September 2022, I registered a not-for-profit community interest company to provide counselling and support services for survivors of Domestic and Sexual abuse from all genders and backgrounds. www.noisno.org.uk

Sabrina is calm, non-judgemental and patient. I’m so grateful for this. Working with her has made me realise that my thoughts and feelings are valid and completely normal (that it is not unusual to feel the way I do, given my experiences).
